Certainly - the character's point in canon and version is up to the player. Since collecting every hero/villain and replacing them would take quite a long time, even for Skrulls, it's entirely possible to take them from the beginning/middle of their canon. Setting canon points for characters/specific groups/teams would be unfair - but also realities and version restrictions would be unfair as well. Given we're only allowing one version of each hero at a time (IE: no clones, doubles from two different realities) taking your canon from Nolanverse is entirely acceptable! (Reply to this) (Parent)

Marvel owned and published the comic for 20-something years so to answer your first question, yes! The fictional Hyborian age, based on diagram, looks like it might have been a little before the Cretaceous, in the Jurassic. The character would still be allowed obviously, but it might be her future - which would still be cool and very interesting to play out. Both characters could be taken from Jurassic if you'd like - given in this current time they've been dropped in, it's meant to have no civilizations so that the heroes and villains (and select civilians) have to deal with one another. And of course dinosaurs. Those versions are allow so long as they are the only versions in game of that character. For example, a hold on Wolverine (let's say they take the movie canon) - means someone cannot hold zombie!Wolverine, etc. (Reply to this) (Parent)

The mobile calls fall into what would be done in cretaceousmedia -- as explained in our FAQ here. If you have trouble finding it these should answer any questions involving communications between characters that are not in person: How do the journals come into play? Designed and networked by some of the very first to arrive. All journals entries are public unless marked private. Journal names → are the characters actual screen names. What is cretaceousmedia for? It is an extension of their journals and should be used as an in-character public message board. As well as a place where emails/phone-calls/texts and packages should be posted — "Filtered to ____;" or "Email/Call/Text to ____;" should be put in the subject line if it is not for the public. Given comics are discontinued and restarted so often, some "canons" have dead ends or just don't make sense when set next to others - while others are so all over the place (and universe) it's near impossible figuring out where the characters were at any given point. So, watering down a canon, and piecing it together in a sensible manner is entirely acceptable — so long as there is a core character-canon at the least. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Yes, dates may be changed in order to make the canon "flow" - or alternatively, if you can find a reason in canon (IE: contact with an alien race or appropriate powers having been used on the character before) you can simply state that they have a slowed life line. When in doubt, if anything seems off with the application we'll work with you through it :) (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Yes samples may be from other characters in others game - we'll also accept linking to compilation journals or CDJs. And yes we'd like it if the 3rd person sample was not a post that you plan to use IN-GAME as an intro or future post. (Reply to this) (Parent)

What we mean by that in the rules is that two versions are not allowed. For example; if someone has Gwen Stacy as a character, another person cannot pick up a Gwen Stacy "clone" or an alternate version like an Amazing Spider-Man version. We do allow for multiple superheroes to be in the game like all the Robin's from Batman, or the other three Blue Beetle's and even both Captain America's. (Reply to this) (Parent)

For the first, his dimensional walking would disabled due to the Skrull influence on the area/time - but he could still teleport and such as he pleases around the current state of Earth. As for the second's PB - might we suggest Kroenen from the first Hellboy movie with the mask photoshopped? As always we're willing to help you out with this if you don't have the resources to manipulate icons.
